INDIA

In the year 2000, Pastor Joe had a dream, which resulted in the creation of Building for Him India. In the dream Pastor Joe saw a building that was surrounded by a white wall with a hole in it. Through the hold, he could see 3 children and behind them there was a group of large eyes looking out at him when he heard a voice say “come help us”. The following day he shared the dream in a church that he had helped plant in Connecticut when an Indian woman who was visiting the congregation came forward to proclaim that he did not have a dream but he had a vision of a real children’s home that her father had established in southern India years prior.

Through a series of miraculous events over the following week an opportunity arose for him to go to India in pursuit of the mission to help the children he saw in the dream. Since its founding, Building for Him India has been established as a nationally recognized and registered Christian Ministry in India. Building for Him: India has been able to expand the children’s home, constructed a church building, dental clinic and in January 2022 opened an outpatient hospital providing much needed medical care to the local community.  

Today over 300 Indian churches are affiliated with the Building for Him: India network and thousands of Indian men, women and children have accepted Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior through various outreaches of this ministry. Building for Him: India continues to provide housing, clothing, education, medical care and spiritual guidance for children being raised in the children’s home in addition to ongoing community outreaches through the provision of meals, clothing, medical and dental care.
